End User Rates 

End users must purchase internet credit to use non-free Internet bandwidth at RedButton hotspots, specifically the RedButton Prepaid Hotspot product. Internet credit can be purchased using a voucher or through the RedButton Account Manager. Credit is currently sold in the following denominations if purchased through the account manager (please note that as of 15 July 2009, the options changed as announced in our blog ):

• R50
• R100
• R244 (R250 worth - 2.5% discount)
  
• R475 (R500 worth - 5% discount)
• R694 (R750 worth - 7.5% discount)
• R900 (R1000 worth - 10% discount)
• R1275 (R1500 worth - 15% discount)
  

Internet credit can be used at any hotspot supporting the RedButton Hotspot Solution. Each hotspot charges the end user a specific rate measured in data (megabytes) or time. The rate of each hotspot is displayed on the splash page with rates being able to differ at each hotspot.

Internet access is charged in the range of 15c to 200c per rate of metric (data or time). The amount charged is dependant upon the specific hotspot rate.

Note that prices for internet credit and the rate of charge as well as the charge metric (data or time) at specific hotspots are subject to change without notice. In addition note that discounts on the listed denominations are not available to users with billing overrides.

The charges below are applicable to establishments using RedButton's hotspot services, not to end-users. 

Vouchers

We offer a voucher delivery service to venues within 20km of the Cape Town CBD with a call-out charge of R100 being applicable. Alternatively vouchers are sent via email in pdf format ready for printing and cutting.

Call-out and labour rates

The following rates apply for network related problems that fall outside of RedButton's domain and are not covered by a separate support contract.
